We don't even wash our eggs half the time, if they look clean anyway. If vinegar really helps to keep the protective coating (called bloom) intact, that would be awesome! I will research it more. Thanks (: xoSamantha Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17985569270531416911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274287835207300753.post-24021683317005739652014-02-24T12:13:24.163-08:002014-02-24T12:13:24.163-08:00Yum! Wish I could come by for a bite!
Then I have an odd question - do you wash your eggs in water or vinegar (12%)? I Just remember that my parents used to wash them in vinegar since then the shells natural protective .. um.. surface.. stayed on them so they lasted longer. Maybe it's just something to do with hens over here, I don't know :D. I might be just annoying and pointing sticks at you, but I just wondered! :) really! :DJennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17188960573863396768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274287835207300753.post-24843746985020664472014-02-22T17:48:23.619-08:002014-02-22T17:48:23.619-08:00Hello! But this squash soup is yummy, and every single one of my kids will eat it, which is something of a miracle (-; Anyway, here is a link to the recipe!

http://pipodoll.blogspot.ca/2014/02/roasted-squash-soup-recipe.html

And about frittatas, I am fairly new to making them. They can be very simple to make though. I got my basic recipe here:

http://small-wonders.blogspot.ca/2014/02/feeding-our-families.html

Thanks so much for taking the time to say hello (: xoSamantha Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17985569270531416911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8274287835207300753.post-41909263536002845142014-02-19T19:59:22.270-08:002014-02-19T19:59:22.270-08:00It all looks so good! I do make vegetabley meals for myself for lunch though, when he is too far away to scrunch up his nose. :)

Any chance you might share your soup recipe sometime? I'm also curious if there is a technique to making fritatta, or is it just whatever you want thrown into some beaten eggs? Bacon and kale sound wonderful with the eggs. I'll have to try that some time.
