felted fellows!

I tried needle felting for the very first time yesterday!

I used some washed wool from Teapot and Magpie and made a little barn owl for Jude and a gnome for Ollie. I had no idea it was so fun and I am thinking I may become obsessed! It is such a cathartic practice, manipulating this soft, beautiful fiber, and made even more special to me knowing that I am using the wool from my very own sheep (:

  1. Very neat! I'm glad to see that you are settled into your new home and posting on your blog again. I missed your posts while you were in the process of moving - not that I don't understand. The week we moved to our farm (3 years ago) was surely the most stressful time I've ever experienced.

Congratulations on your new place! I look forward to hearing all about your adventures there.

  2. Hello Laura Jeanne (: Yes, moving was pretty much the most stressful thing I have ever gone through also, and in all honestly I think I am not quite recovered fully, but at least I can blog a bit and make meals for my family now (: Thank you for reaching out! (:
