Shady Grove and Turnip!

In the matter of a half an hour, I ended up adopting these sweet babies. Serendipity!
I will write more later. We are boiling tons of maple syrup today so I'm off!

  1. Oh, I love the badger face and the names are just adorable! Are they Jacob sheep? Everybody has a cute lamb or kid (goat) right now - I want one too! (pout)

    1. Hi Jody! (:
I got them from a neighbour; they live not even 10 minutes from our place. Both ewes are a Leicester/Romney cross. They are lovely girls. How are your sheep doing? Do you have lots of lambs now? April is a magical time indeed (:

    1. Yes, I was thinking that they could have lovey fleeces! How exciting (: I have sheared Pippin now; I will post a picture soon. I did pretty good for my first try; got the whole fleece off in one piece, minus the dirty edges. It was fun! I hope I can apprentice from a veteran shearer one day (:
I would love to get together with you, just for fun, to talk wool and sheep and such (:
      Enjoy the lambs!
