This morning I spent some time out on the patio, sweeping, repotting, neatening and arranging the potted plants, rock collections and flowers. It was quite flooded from the many rains that have blessed us so I cleared away all the excess water as well. Much better. When I finished I felt lovely, cleansed, creative and refueled. Why do I always forget how much I love gardening?! I came inside to wash my hands and heard the beautiful sounds of doves' wings... My friends returned!
I suppose they were waiting for me to clean and prepare the place before they came for a visit. They settled right in as they have been doing the past two springs..
