When we visited Mission Santa Cruz, it was Easter Sunday and the mission grounds were closed off. We were still able to access the church though ~ It was completely empty. The offeratory candles were burning, the rain was coming down outside and there was such a peace in that place. Impossible to capture with a photograph.
